I recently co-starred in Oliver Mann’s indie film SUCH A FUNNY LIFE.
I play Dale, a stand-up comic who serves as a mentor to the film’s lead. Dale is the no-nonsense, get your sh*t together, kind of man who has his literal and metaphorical glass half-full.
The indie also includes performances by some of my talented colleagues, Nastasha Strang, Vanessa P. Thorpe, and Tom Ashton. Who doesn’t love a day of filmmaking with friends. Recently, we were selected as LA Weekly’s Pick Of The Week!

David Gutierrez is an up and coming New York stand up comic who is funny on stage, but off stage he struggles with: the death of his sister Gabriella, his Autistic mother Mariah in a mental institution and the disappearance of his abusive father Ralph that connects David with his street smart friend Rob Parker.
